This week's challenge:
Sometimes the chaos that is your life with children has you on your last thread, but you don't really have anyway to slip off your responsibilities to get a break. What do you do then? How do you find rest?
This week we are going to embrace rest while still shouldering our responsibilities of motherhood by inviting rest into our regular activities. When you feel the need to rest but can't get away, slow everyone down. Choose a quiet activity like reading, a board game, coloring books and enjoy a slower pace with your children.
Contrary to the speed our children often choose to run their own lives at, they need rest too. Whether it is a blessed nap or a quiet activity. Praciting calm and quiet play, even if just for short amounts of time, is beneficial to parent and child alike.
